UAP will host our annual benefit on April 8, 2019
I.S. 528, a longtime UAP partner school, was featured in an NBC 4 New York as a model Community School.
UAP’s School of Interactive Art was featured on NBC 4 New York in October as a Project Innovation grant recipient.
This past February, UAP’s EASE program hosted a two-day conference called Making Connections Through the Arts, which gave participants an opportunity to experience EASE methods and strategies.
The 3rd annual UAP on the Green Golf Outing took place on June 5, 2018, bringing together UAP supporters for a day on the golf course.
The inaugural ‘UAP Bowls’ event was on July 12, 2018, bringing in different law firms for a night of friendly competition in support of UAP!
Students from the School of Interactive Arts debuted their original games in a fun, communal arcade setting.
UAP’s AmplifiED Benefit was celebrated on Monday, April 16 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Manhattan. The event honored Marissa Shorenstein, Northeast Regional President at AT&T, UAP Board member Niclas Nagler, and UAP Artistic Board member Michael Kenneth Williams.
UAP has been awarded $6.35M in funding from the US Department of Education. The funding will support two UAP Programs: Everyday Arts for Special Education (EASE) and School of Interactive Arts (SIA).
This year, UAP has an exciting new partner in Ovation TV. As part of their Stand for the Arts Coalition, Ovation chose a group of arts organizations throughout the country that exemplify the values of Stand for the Arts.
