Take a look at a short feature that News 12 did on UAP alumnus Amadou Diallo! Growing up in Guinea, Amadou knew he had a passion for all things digital. Yet he didn’t have access to a lot of technology. To feed his burgeoning interests, Amadou read tons of articles about tech. Two years ago, Amadou emigrated to the Bronx and started attending Bronx International High School. He enrolled in UAP’s School for Interactive arts, which provides college level programming in game design and computer science. In less than a month, he created his first video game, centered on his immigrant experience. Amadou is now a student at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, where he is on a full tuition scholarship.
