NBC features UAP Community School, I.S. 528

I.S. 528, a longtime UAP partner school, was featured this November in an NBC 4 New York news piece.  I.S. 528 is a Community School that was part of the Renewal Schools Initiative. The school was hailed as a huge success in the program. The news piece features UAP’s own Alejandro Alvarez, the Community School Director for IS 528.  It also features UAP Full-time Teaching Artists Ben Rojas and dance Teaching Artist Simeon Hardin.

NBC features SIA

This past October, NBC 4 New York visited UAP’s offices to see the fall 2018 launch of School of Interactive Arts (SIA). At the launch, new students received their orientation to the program and got to hear from alums.  They also jumped right in to start brainstorming their own original games! We are grateful that NBC was able to memorialize the day for us while spreading the word about SIA.
